Butasyl is a combination of two non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, both analgesic and antipyretic effect. Sodium salicylate is rapidly metabolized and provides immediate decrease in pain and fever. Phenylbutazone provides a longer anti-inflammatory effect. Indicated in the treatment of acute inflammation, and pyrexia allergic conditions present in mastitis, neumopáticos pains, myocarditis, laminitis, and all forms of arthritis (traumatic, infectious and rheumatoid) , MMA, bursitis.

Indications butasyl DIURIZONE DEXA POWER

Phenylbutazone has anti-inflammatory properties. Sodium salicylate has analgesic and antipyretic properties, is indicated in the treatment of allergic conditions and acute inflammation and pyrexia in horses and cattle. Phenylbutazone 186.1 mg; 50.0 mg sodium salicylate.

Interactions and incompatibilities

Do not administer with other analgesics, corticosteroids, barbiturates, chloramphenicol, sulfonamides,

anticoagulants, hydantoin-type anticonvulsants and hypoglycemic agents.

Indications and target species

Equine: Acute arthritis.

Contraindications of Butasyl

• Do not use in animals with cardiorenal conditions, edema, gastritis or hemoglobinuria.

• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Very rarely digestive disorders ( colic gastritis , diarrhea) may occure ;
