ANTRAXMUNE is a vaccine indicated to prevent carbonaceous fever, anthrax or anthrax in cattle, horses, sheep, goats and pigs. Bacillus anthracis, a bacterium that produces carbonaceous fever, has a peculiar characteristic, it is the only aerobic sporulated species. The spores resist dehydration for a long time and several researchers indicate that they have survived for 10 or more years.
USE IN:
Cattle, horses, goats, sheep, pigs.
DOSE:
Cattle and horses: 2 mL. Sheep, goats and pigs: 1 mL.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:
Subcutaneous.
FORMULA:
Vaccine made with live spores of Bacillus anthracis strain Sterne, attenuated, not encapsulated. With a titer greater than 1 x 106 / mL.
Each mL contains:
Live spores of the Sterne strain, attenuated, not encapsulated. Bacillus anthracis. > 1×106 / ml
Vehicle, c.b.p. 1 mL.
